Inspired by an incomplete sketch believed to be an early embroidery concept, this soothing design is attributed to William Morris. The Morris & Co. studio evolved the original artwork into a complete all-over repeat, honouring Morris’s artistic intent while finishing the composition. Where Morris marked out stitches for embroidery, the design team retained this delicate linework, preserving the charm and honesty of the original drawing. Unique and authentic, just like Morris himself. Chamomile is rotary printed for lasting quality and beauty.
