Cirtu Polish is a c. 1920 French shoe polish advertisement by an anonymous artist. This whimsical image features an oversized women’s shoe and polishing brush. The text reads “With Cirtu, it’s a pleasure!” The artwork is in the classic poster style of the 1920’s, and features similar motifs used by Leonetto Cappiello and Jean D’Ylen among other artists of the time.
